Join the European Beer Group for the Grain to Glass policy dinner and site visit in Strasbourg, France, on Monday, 6 July and Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
The dinner on Monday 6 July is reserved for MEPs. Other participants are invited to register for the site visit on Tuesday, 7 July.
This visit is part of the Grain to Glass series, which provides policymakers with a practical understanding of the brewing value chain and its links to EU policy priorities, including agriculture, sustainability, rural development, and competitiveness.

On Monday evening, a dinner will be held at Chère Amie in Strasbourg. The event brings together MEPs and industry stakeholders for informal discussion.
The programme will include welcome remarks by the EBG Co-Chairs and an address by the Secretary General of The Brewers of Europe. Dinner will be accompanied by a paired menu featuring Alsatian beers.

Tuesday, July 7 – Site Visit

Tuesday 7 July 2026 – Arrival from 08:20 – Guided tour and policy discussion
The programme continues at Boortmalt’s malting facility in Strasbourg. The visit will focus on the malting process and its role in the brewing value chain.
Participants will take part in a guided tour of the facility, followed by a policy discussion on: Malt Matters: Agriculture, Innovation and the Beer Value Chain.
NB: After the visit, a bus will be organised to return guests directly to the European Parliament.
